Tail Section
|
| Here we are going to construct a solo
seat with a tail section. The goal is to have a solo seat that can
lock in to replace the stock upholstery whenever deemed necessary.
The materials we are utilizing are , stock pan stripped of foam and
vinyl. Sheet of 1/8 inch foam core board from frame or craft shop
and Elmer's glue. I started with the break in the seat at the rear
by adding a back slanted piece of foam core to extend the angle upward.
Then began construction of a tail cone built up with more foam core |

I also took the liberty of removing the
stock "Grab Bar" leaving a gap between the seat pan and the rear tail
faring. This I intend to replace with a small flush body piece
also constructed of foam core covered with fiberglass cloth and finished
with body filler, painted to match. The versatility of the seat
pan solo seat is that it an be installed on any EX250. |
